Bring or rent a bike and try out the 200 km linear path “le P’tit train du Nord” stretching from St-Jerome to Mont Laurier.
Take a hike?
Try the many hiking trails just next door in Parc Dufresne (Val-David). For a unique and beautiful nature walk go to the Centre Forestier des Laurentides in St-Faustin. |

- Take a cruise on the “Bateaux Alouette” on magnificent Lac des Sables where the captain will share some of Sainte-Agathe’s history with you.
- Go visit Santa Claus and his village at “Village du Pere Noel”
- Stay cool when it’s hot at one of the three water parks in our area. “Le parc aquatique Mont Saint Sauveur” is one of the largest ones in Canada!
- Enjoy the splendor of the festival of colours by taking a gondola up to the top of Mont Tremblant
- Horse-back riding is an option too or sit back in a horse drawn carriage from “La Ferme Duquette”. Their horses can greet you at your doorstep!
- The kids want some action? How about Go-Karting at “Val-Va”? The Acrobranche courses in Mont Tremblant offers a unique forest experience.
This region is known for its rich cultural activities. Such as the numerous summer festivals, art exhibits, outdoor concerts, outdoor markets as well as agro-tourism. Visit "La Maison du Village" www.culture.val-david.qc.ca and www.1001pots.com or take in some live theatre at “Le Patriote”. In Sainte-Agathre visit la Villa des arts Liliane Bruneau. A little further away, is the Saint-Sauveur Art festival and also worth seeing and hearing is the Mont Tremblant Jazz Festival.
